Link Aadhaar Card to LPG Connection online

In order to ensure your LPG subsidy deposited in your Bank, it is necessary to Link Aadhaar Card to the LPG Connection and to the Bank Account. So consumer will need a Bank Account to join the PAHAL Scheme (DBTL - Direct Benefits Transfer for LPG) for LPG subsidy. Here is the process to Link Aadhaar Card to LPG Connection online. Step 1: Visit the Aadhaar Seeding Portal https://rasf.uidai.gov.in/seeding/User/ResidentSelfSeedingpds.aspx

Step 2: Click on Start Now to start the linking process.You will redirected to this screen.

Please check URL https://rasf.uidai.gov.in/seeding/User/ResidentSelfSeedingpds.aspx

A form Resident Self Service will be displayed on this screen.

Step 3: Please enter your address location. Select State, district which are the mandatory fields. First chhose the state and then district where you have your LPG connection.

Note: Keep your Aadhaar Card & LPG pass book with you for next step.

Step 4: Next step is to Choose Benefit Type, please select LPG in Benefit Type. After that you need to select the Scheme Name for your LPG connection. Select one from BPCL/HPCL/IOCL as per your LPG connection. Then selct your Distributor Name from which you bought the LPG connection. If you do not find your distributor in this list, please choose appropriate State and District. Then fill your LPG consumer number in given box. You will find your Consumer Number on your LPG Passbook.

Step 5: Enter Your Details : Here you have fill email id (it is optional), Mobile No. & Aadhaar Number (12 Digit number) which are mandatory. A One time password (OTP) will be sent to the email id (if provided) and Mobile Number. Enter the One time password (OTP) and the security code (CAPTCHA). Click the Submit button to complete the linking process.

Note: You need to register your mobile number with Aadhaar Card prior to filling this form. Please check How to register your mobile number with Aadhaar Card.

You can check your Aadhaar Card Seeding Status in your respective LPG connection website online. Your request will be approved within few days after verification.

Link Aadhaar Card to Income Tax Return

Now, the Aadhaar Card holders need not to file Income Tax Return physically. The Central Board of Direct Tax (CBDT) has introduced the Electronic Verification of ITR-V through Aadhar Card. Previously, after efilling the ITR, the taxpayer had to post the signed copy of ITR-V to Centralised Processing Centre (CPC) in Bangalore.

Income Tax Department has started linking of PAN (Permanent Account Number) with Aadhaar Card. This will eliminate the procedure of sending ITR-V to Centralised Processing Centre (CPC) in Bangalore. Aadhaar Card can be linked to PAN Card once the details like Name, Date of Birth, Gender matches with the Aadhaar Card details. IT (Income Tax) Department will validate the Name, Date of Birth, Gender as per the PAN Card & Aadhaar Card. If the details do not match the will not be linked to Aadhaar Card.

After Aadhaar - PAN Linking is completed, yo can E-Verify your Return if your mobile is Registered.

Login to Income Tax eFilling Portal Go to Profile Settings Click on "Link Aadhaar" Enter Aadhaar number and click on "Link Now" Verify your details like Name, Date of Birth, Gender as per the Aadhaar Card with PAN data If details not matched, the Aadhaar will not be linked to PAN Card On successful Validation, your Aadhaar Card will be linked to PAN Card After uploading the Income Tax Return (ITR) online on Income Tax Portal, it will ask you to select option to e-Verify Return

Option 1 -> I already have an EVC to e-Verify my return.
Option 2 -> I do not have an EVC and I woul like to generate EVC to e-Verify my return.
Option 3 -> I would like to generate Aadhaar OTP to e-Verify my return.
Option 4 -> I would like to send ITR-V / I would like to e-verify Later

Select "Option 3 -> I would like to generate Aadhaar OTP to e-Verify my return" to e-Verify return using Aadhaar Card.
If the Taxpayer's PAN and Aadhaar are linked already, a OTP will be generated and will be sent to your registered mobile number with Aadhaar. Use this OTP to e-Verify the uploaded Return. If this OTP matches, the portal will show you the message "Return successfully e-Verified. Download the Acknowledgement".

It will send the Acknowledgement to registered email address. Also you can download it by clicking on "Download Acknowledgement". Now, there is no need to send a physical copy of ITR-V to CPC, Bangalore.
